Adjustable V-Wheel orientation on X & Y Axis plates

Iā€™m just putting my 48x30 LMmk2 together and during assembly noticed the adjustable V-wheels are on the bottom of the gantry plate on the X-Axis, but are located on the top of the Y-Axis rails. It seems more intuitive to place all of the adjustable V-wheels on the bottom of the rail instead of the top. After fiddling with adjusting the Y-Axis wheels all day today, it seems having them on the bottom would sure make things simpler. Is the only reason they are on top an access/convenience issue? What would happen if I swapped the wheels on the X-Axis so the adjustable ones are on the bottom?
