After assembly, everything was working perfectly. I moved the Altmill and now it won’t go to the home position. The right side Y axis stops about a foot from the home and the left continues. The right side starts to whine and grind sounds and then the SLB throws an alarm. I can reset it and jog to the front of the Altmill with no problem. I can use my touch probe to zero the machine and run project that do not go to the back of the machine. Any suggestions?
Sounds like you may have pulled a wire loose someplace. Check all the motor connections at the motors AND the SLB.
Are both Y motors running? When I assembled mine one of the Y motor power connector had came loose on the SLB and it acted Similar.

Thanks for the advice! I checked all of the motor connections and it was all fine! I found the cross member screws at the 4th cross member were loose and backed out far enough to stop the right gantry. All tightened up now! I verified all other connections were tight. Everything working now!
