Auto zero touch plat help

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to my post.

I recently set up the Altmil 4x4 and running a Makita Trim router until the ATC get here.

I ran my first project but couldn’t get the touch plate to auto zero. Not really sure what basic information you need so I took so pictures.

I’m having the same problem. I have the spindle, but it is the same error with the same message. I have queried the console and it shows PN:P status, indicating the probe is sensing a complete circuit. It also pulls up the green checkmark on the continuity check as soon as I press the probe button. It is doing this with the probe plugged into the controller or not- so I am thinking an internal problem in the controller? Edit: A 4x4 Altmill, everything set up according to web page, all components powered on and off repeatedly, “Invert probe inputs” toggled on and off- no change.

Enable the tool setter option to see if that helps. I think you need to power cycle gSender after the change.

I seem to recall a bug in gSender or in the firmware that required both options to be enabled even if you don’t have the bit setter.

That worked! Thanks!
