Agree with need to go to Z 15mm for Y probe only, to be able to remove the AZT. Display shows 15 and looks like 15mm above surface This has operated consistently, and my only comment is lack of documentation.
The issue is the XYZ probing. Prior to the CLSM upgrade, the XYZ probe result displayed “0” for X, Y and Z, and as far as I could see, the bit was at the set point and on the surface (would be equivalent to the paper test) every time. Yes, I hold the AZT while it is going through the sequence. There is no need to move Z axis up to remove the AZT when do the XYZ probe due to the design of the AZT. After the CLSM upgrade, for the XYZ probe, results were X:0, Y:-0.01, Z:0 for first 2 jobs, and that is why I posted the question on this forum. The third job, for the XYZ probe, results were X:0, Y:0, Z:1, and as far as I could see, Z was not on the surface of the job. I do not consider this normal.
I am repeating same information, so will stop. Next step is to open a ticket with Tech Support.
