So My Autospin Stopped in the middle of a job. Im glad that it was a test piece so I didnt have to eat an expensive chunk of wood. I emailed support and posted on Facebook because it was the middle of the night to see any suggestions. Brushes were suggested. Well, I spent the entire morning tracking down CB408 brushes, even though I didn’t think that was the problem because I don’t actually use my longmill enough to have worn them down. The last time I had something where the brushes needed to be replaced, it acted kind of wonky for a bit and then died. This just stopped. I finally managed to get my hands on some, and when I went to replace them, I pulled one out, and it looked great. What I did notice was that the covers were loose. They didn’t crank them down at all at the factory, and hey both had vibrated out. A little QC issue there, Sienci, but I am glad that it was something simple.
