Feed Rate Override on SLB

I have searched forums and Facebook group but have not been able to find an answer.

I recently upgraded my LongMill MK2 to the SLB, but I cannot adjust the feed rate while a job is running using Gsender. I have searched through the configuration settings and cannot find anything that would be limiting it.

I have been dry-running a job that is over an hour long, but the feed rate will not change. Whether I use the plus and minus buttons or the slider, it remains at the fixed programmed feed rate.

I saw on the SLB troubleshooting page that grblHAL may not allow feed-rate overrides during shorter jobs. It also says that, if an override is still needed, it should be possible to set the override before starting the job. However, that does not seem to work for me either.

Is there a setting I am missing, or something else that could be preventing the feed-rate override from working?

Thanks.

What is the feed rate? Is it possible you’re already at the fixed configured maximum feed rate for that axis?

like 72 ipm. I know I am not over the max feed rate. It worked when I had the Longboard. I have tried multiple programs. I am using Vcrave Pro for CAM. I checked all the setting and I am configured at the 4000 mm/min or 157 ipm max feed. It wont go up or down in feed rate.

Here is a video. it appears Gsender thinks it is changing due to the time remaining changing but you can see it stays at 45 ipm and the machine is not changing feed rate when watching it

@Sheff66 I have combined your two topics here. Please do not duplicate post.

I solved the issue It was $10 was not set right. it should be $10=511 and somehow mine was set to $10=59. Chatgpt actually pointed this out when I uploaded the diagnostics PDF and told it the issue I was have.
