Unboxed my gControl panel yesterday and fired it up for the first time. No matter which WiFi network I attempt to connect to, I get an error message saying”can’t connect to this network”. This happens BEFORE I am ever asked for a password or anything else. I’ve tried my primary network, my guest network, 2 different hotspots, several neighbors networks, I even set up a completely new open network using a spare router….nothing. I’ve turned WiFi on and off, I’ve disabled and re-enabled the WiFi adapter, I’ve deleted the network card in device manager and let windows rediscover and reinstall it, I’ve deleted and reinstalled drivers, I’ve deep cycled the power……nothing works. I even took it in my house, connected it to Ethernet (which works) ran windows updates and then repeated all the steps mentioned above…..I don’t know what else to try. Anyone got suggestions or know who to call for support?
I have run into a defective wifi module in the past. It sounds like that might be what is happening here. I would suggest a request for assistance from Sienci.
