I am experiencing a persistent homing issue on my AltMill and need some technical assistance. I am using a VFD spindle setup.

The specific symptom is: When I home any axis individually, the axis physically moves all the way to the home position, but at the very end of the cycle (during the pull-off phase), it always throws Alarm 8 (Homing fail: limit switch failed to clear). This happens on all axes.

Here is the troubleshooting I have completed so far:

1. Sensor Testing: Out of the bracket/in mid-air, the inductive sensors work perfectly. The physical red LEDs turn on and off correctly when metal is introduced, and gSender’s pin status updates accordingly.
2. Settings Adjusted: I have already tried increasing the Homing Pull-Off distance ($27) up to 5.0mm, increasing the debounce delay ($26), and disabling Hard Limits ($21), but the machine still throws Alarm 8 at the end of every individual homing attempt

@MCC Welcome to the group.

I have moved your post to the gSender question category. The original category is for members posting their projects - successful and otherwise.
