Longmill MK2.5 with Gsender v1.4

Ok. I am at a complete loss here.

Longmill mk2.5

Running gsender 1.4 (no, I won’t update given issues people seem to have with the other versions.)

Issue. I ran many projects without issue.

Today, 2 carves in. Ready to start my third, i grab the zero touch plate to set the bit and suddenly the CNC isn’t registering to gsender.

I restart everything, computer, program, CNC. It registered, I went to move the router to again set the bit, it lags out. Then drops connection to the CNC.

No amount of restarts seem to connect to the machine.

I need your help!

*update* last total reset of all seems to work. Any idea what causes this

*uodate 2* it dropped the port. Wont reconnect. Please help!

@Forbius121 Welcome to the group.

If you are running gSender under Windows, and connecting via USB, I would start by ensuring that all the USB power saving settings are turned off. If that does not fix this, replace the USB cable.

I will try that first.

If you have the SLB (MK 2 does I think) then you could try to connect via the ethernet port, I find that to me a much more reliable connection.
