New probe set up issue

Hi there. I bought the new probe and when i start the probing process it touches down but then it goes to the left and pushes the probe device off the piece. I can’t even holded in place . Once it comes out it get stuck and i get an alarm. Any suggestions?

Have you selected the right type of probe in gSender? Under Settings->Probe.

Also make sure you select AUTO when you want to begin the probing process, this also happened to me.

I found a tutorial which guide me through the entire menu and sure enough i was on the wrong setting. Thanks for your response brother. Greatly appreciated.
