Been using the Makita for about a year now. Been thinking about upgrading to the 1.5k Sienci spindle bu still unsure what actual advantages one gets. I’m using less V bits and more bigger bits now. Also are there good alternatives to Sienci I should be considering. I’m only looking at 110v, air cooled at this point.
I have the PWN 1.5 spindle, and love it. Quieter, and the bearings are much better. Plus it should last a long time (burned up 2 Makita’s) because they can run hour on end, as where the routers are only meant for short runs. Anther plus is I can put in the RPM in the software (Aspire) and it will turn on and off with the tool path.
