Super Longboard Ethernet Connectivity

OH THANK YOU. This is exactly what I need!!!

I found the information yesterday on the Sienci site using a Siri search. I replaced the usb cable with an Ethernet cable between my SLB and gControl computer. The thing I missed the first time was to change the IP address from 192.168.5.1 to 192.168.5.2 in Windows on the gControl computer ( the last number must be 2 or greater). Then back in gSender in the config tab when I made the change the ‘apply’ button didn’t turn green so I thought I was done. Obviously that didn’t work so I went back to config and after making the change from 1 to 2, I pressed the unlit ‘apply’ button and it took affect. Immediate connection!

Morning @Chucky_ott,

Great feedback, I agree 100%. I’ve made a note to revisit the gSender section, as it may benefit from a bit of a re-write in addition to the link to the SuperLongBoard technical manual.

Cheers,
Stephen

My Port Disconnect appears to be resolved after connecting via Ethernet. I have received the better USB cable but have not tested it. I’ve been super busy with other critical things. But I will test.
