Just finished setting up my longmill cnc. Started to follow instructions to do the test engrave.
Following the prompts
1st step
Thickness of wood
2nd step
step move bit to corner
3rd step
Raise bit?
This is we’re things go wrong. I say yes, but the router lowers the bit, not raise it…
I continue to run the test cut, but the router moves into cut position and then raises up about .5 “ and starts cutting up of the board. Its not engraving in to the board.
Any idea what I’m doing wrong??
Any help would be greatly appreciated
