# Y axis is cutting at an angle

I am new to this cnc world, I have a question in regards to my spoil board. I have set everything up in G-sender for surfacing my spoil board, when it started I noticed it is cutting at a slit angle on the Y axis pass leaving a lip, the x pass is smooth, can someone tell me how adjust this so it is level?

@vandyk Welcome to the group, George. It’s a great place, one where you can get answers to your questions and post your projects for us all to see.

When you say that Y is cutting at a slight angle, do you mean that you are getting slight grooves from front to back on your spoil board when you surface it?
