Lead screw couplers not securing the lead screw

Sienci needs to come up with a better solution to this problem. It happens far to frequently and makes the machine unusable.

Does anyone know if Sienci is okay with the metal coupler or do they have another option in the works??

I’m having similar problems. Couplers are threaded on both sides which goes against everything i ever learned about fasteners. it seems that either one side should be a thru hole or the screw should only be threaded on the first half. this would give much better clamping power on the shafts. Has anyone attempted different screws of drilling the threads on the part of the collar that the screw head makes contact with?
