Hi, I’m Wally Cook. I am a semi retired consultant working in the area of risk management and occupational health and safety. My wife and I are both professional engineers (electrical).
I have been a recreational wood worker for over 45 years. My wife bought me a radial arm saw when we were first married. Projects have ranged from furniture, toys, games, yard furniture, bird houses and feeders up to and including building a cabin.

I have had a Longmill II for a year and a half as of March 2024 and got the laser head for Christmas. Looking forward to expanding what I’ve already been able to do with the Longmill which includes components for Adirondack chairs,(Muskoka chairs here for us Canadians) signs, coasters, charcuterie boards, clocks and this week… mazes.
