A little bit about me… I’m in the PNW and have always been fascinated with CNC woodworking; but the entry level (desktop versions) machines were just out of my price range. And then I started seeing more and more desktop versions hitting the market, and figured, I had better start saving my coins! I thought it would take a few years of saving to have enough to make a purchase. And then I came across the LongMill!! I have had my machine for a few months now. Unfortunately, life keeps getting in the way of me spending quality time with it. But I’m looking forward to wrapping up my yard work for the season, and having lots of time to hang out with my machine!! It’s all setup and ready to go - just waiting on me! In the meantime, I pop over to the forum to improve my knowledge about CNCing. I will start out making things for family and friends; because people are more forgiving of imperfections when they get something for free ;-). Then I will see what types of projects really get me excited, and focused on making those. I look forward to being a part of the Sienci Labs community!!
