15 Degree V-Bit parameters

I have been using a 30 degree v-bit for fine detail projects but sometimes it just doesn’t cut deep enough.

I bought a 15 degree v-bit in hopes to cut a little deeper. I am having some difficulty trying to figure out the cutting parameters, feeds and speeds. Was hoping someone could offer some assistance. The bit has a 1/4 inch shank, 1 flute, .005 tip and a cutting diameter of .25. I have a Longmill 30x30 MK2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the source/manufacturer of the bit for parameters. If you bought the bit off Amazon, see if the manufacturer has a website, most will have the parameters.

Yes I got it off Amazon, but unfortunately could not find any specifics on the parameters.

@JHiggs2024 This may give you a starting point.
