Iām still coming back here to ogle this piece and I have a request if you could be so kind. Iād like to see the board from the front and sides if you could.
The chess pieces are so cool I kind of ignored the board at first but it looks nice as well. Iām guessing it has two drawers, one for each players pieces. I canāt tell if the bottom of the drawer is painted red or felt but it looks well made and like the red wood accent on the drawer front for a bit of flair, like this piece needed more pizzaz. 
P.S. If you made this to sell I hope you get what itās worth, a lot in my opinion. Wherever it ends up Iām sure it will be cherished for for a long time!
