Love the owl carving and the way it is carved onto a natural round of timber - brilliant!
Thank you. It was challenging getting the pocket to roughly follow the perimeter of the log slice.
I agree, the organic shape from using a round really makes the piece shine!
I like the instrument as well. I don’t recall ever seeing one of those before.
