Just received my Altmill today and was very impressed with the packing and the quality of the parts. Kudos to the AltMill team on this unit. I have to say that being a long time Amazon customer I have seen some amazingly bad pack jobs so I was floored by the fantastic packing job by the AltMill team. The attention to detail and obvious concern for the looks and protection of the components was nothing short of terrific. These guys get a 10 out of 10 for the way the AltMill is shipped to the customer. This pack job could survive some very rough handling. If anyone out there is waiting for their AltMill, and concerned about it arriving in good shape, rest assured, these people know how to pack it right. Way to go SIENCI !

I was also impressed by the pack job. I figure that they played a lot of Tetris or similar in order to get THAT good at getting all the bits into those boxes. The only thing I wished for at the time was that the exterior of the boxes should be marked with what is in them so you don’t have to open up everything to find the components you need for the individual assembly steps.
In retrospect it probably didn’t make a difference but it was a bit overwhelming with all the components all over the place (especially if one has limited space)
