Altmill nod adjustment

I am currently in the final steps of building the Altmill and I realized I didn’t install the eccentric nuts that allow for nod adjustment. I went through the instructions again and I can’t seem to find where in the assembly they are suppose to be installed. Are they only to be used if the x-axis gantry needs them? If that is the case where do I find the instructions to install them if they are needed?

EDIT According to the text in the “Tramming Functionality” section here the default build would not use the eccentric nuts but they would be available for users who needed it. So that explains why I still have them in the bag when nearing the end of the build I was concerned about missing a step along the way. I hope this may help others if they look at the extra hardware and wonder why it isn’t installed.

I sorta has the same issue with the eccentric bushings until I watch an IDC video on trimming your AltMill >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Afw1VdArLuo

I’ve just started a pretram and cannot get the Y axis correctly aligned. From front to back it is out about 4.5 mm. Installing the eccentric bushing for the Y axis does move the tram bar but it moves in the wrong direction and only moves the tram bar about one mm.

So far I have NOT found a solution. I think it will be necessary to shim the Z carriage but I’m not sure where.
