Analysis of chips

Im working with some new bits from IDC, following the speeds and feeds but at .125 instead of the suggested .25 depth. I noticed for the first time my sawdust is not dust but actually chips. I read that chips are desirable and not dust. While the bit was screaming and screeching bloody murder, it seemed to cut just fine. Any input on these chips? Does it represent running too fast or too slow?

They look good from the picture. Saw dust not so good, chips good. It is a little trial and error, but eventually you kinda get to know the chips, and the noise it makes. Different material will react differently.

Great looking chips!

I guess these chips does look good. That’s all analysis
