Has anyone tried changing their Longmill over to use the Arduino Mega? I am thinking I might want to give it a try so I could use a GRBL build that adds in Backlash compensation for the Z axis. I was calibrating things and found that there is some backlash due to the belt pre-load changes.
I have a Mega but haven’t thought of using it yet. Keep us posted as you progress.
