Business "coin"

Rick, the Lousiana Hobby Guy did a tutorial on doing these business coins using Lightburn. I did this in VCarvePro, since I’m more confident designing in it than in LB.

It’s a fun process. You burn the wood, leaving the letters and, in this case, the logo proud of the material. The letters do get some smoke. Sanding them cleans them up. I messed up on this one and was careless sanding below the logo, so I lost some of the nice charring effect.

The outside diameter of the coin is 2". The smallest of the letters is less than .06" high, and a small fraction of that thick. So, you can see how precise the Long Mill can be.

The material is 3mm plywood. Total time was about 25 minutes. Not fast.
