CAMLab, .stl and mm only?

Is CAMLab limited to .stl for import, and mm only no inch.

As of now: yes. Only STL import, and there are a few places where inches are able to be used but most other places are mm

CAMlabs big brother is Kiri:Moto.

Excellent Cam program, can work in inches. Because it is also used for 3d printing, you have to choose CNC in the upper corner from default FBM and youre good to go
