My 14 year old MAC laptop connects just fine. My new MAC laptop does not connect somehow Dows not recognize the machine. When I connect the USB cable via the dongle adapter I hear the machine respond but I do not get a connection that works

I am having the same problem. Did you ever get it resolved?
@Tgomes Welcome a bit late to the forum. I have a MBP 2019 that I went through a couple of dongles to get it to work. The first one was the cheapest one on Amazon and it wouldn’t work with a variety of things I attempted to connect to. It works well and never looked back. Unfortunately, a classic example you get what you pay for. Let us know how you finally got it to work. I use my 2011 MBP due to the environment. But my newer MBP is ready to jump into service when my old one dies. Now if only I could use my design software on my Mac……
