So doing some small test inlays in Carveco I have noticed it leaves tight areas uncut:
I downloaded the trial of Vcarve and did the same vcarve:
Vetric seems in the sim to remove material in these small areas that Carveco leaves behind.
Has anyone seen this problem in Carveco? Or am I doing something wrong?

I haven’t done any inlays and only watched a video on v-bit inlays the other day.
The only thing that stuck with me is
Female part = v-carve
male part = bevel carve
Here is the video I watched from carveco

I had seen that one and he uses both bevel and later on vcarve for the male.
For a simple shape where everything is the same width you can use bevel and then cut out the bevel. Faster to cut out than do a clearance.
For complex vectors I cant make bevel work.
Does anyone use Carveco Maker for vcarve inlays?
