I belong to an entrepreneurial group that meets every Friday morning for coffee. We talk about wins and challenges, general business information and the occasional outside speaker. The lady who I made this plaque for, has been the moderator for almost 10 years. The group collectively decided to provide her a thank you for her time and effort.
The piece came from artwork off my coffee cup. I obtained it after doing moderation for a month. It’s a project I’m very proud of and the lady was very appreciative of the place.
The piece was carved with a 90 degree v bit on walnut. The back side had a personal message and a keyhole to hang it on the wall.
This is my “colorful project” for the week. @mollysaynavong , I would like to enter it in the weekly contest!
Thank you! I have numerous projects that I should be sharing here. I’m finalizing a redone name plate for a desk currently. The gentleman who I made the initial piece for, wanted business card holders on the front and trifold brochure holders (2) on the back. Once it’s done, I’ll share it as well. Thanks again!
