Is it possible to cut wood with the laser. If so how thick, what kind and seetings would be great.

I can’t help with the settings as my laser is not the Sienci one but I have found that cutting wood is easier than plywood because of the glue in the plywood. That said the thickest wood I’ve cut with the laser is 9/32" and it took me 5 passes at 85% power with my SainSmart Genmitsu 5.5w. And I doubt that I actually get 5.5 watts optical.
Maybe someone with the actual LazerBeam will chime in but maybe my info gives you a starting point.
