I’m well on my way. Getting a lot done. Table is all set, rails are inline. Even did na test file with great results. As I continue to create 3D models in the software, Plasicity, which is amazing, I’ve gotten very used to Carveco. Pretty cool so far. To make life easier I upgraded Carveco just so I could project a 2D vector. Boy the things we will do.
Just love the process of creating and watching this come alive.
@William1 How do you like Plasticity? I an trying to figure out the best way to get my guitar design into the Vcarve Pro. This is all very new to me and I don’t have a design software background.
I love!! it. I find it so easy to work in. You can import an SVG file, I use Inkscape for my vector work and from there create my model. That’s how I did the one in the image below. In a short bit of time.
I don’t feel limited at all. I have gotten pretty quick in the design mode. It is a fast learning curve and execution. That blows Fusion away of me. I spent a month with Fusion and it was way more program than what I needed. Considering I have two neck styles with varying headstock and 3 body designs that are 3D carved, the rest simply use the vector layers as in a slab body. Once my library of files are done it’s such an easy process. Plus Plasicity is cheap and not a monthly subscription based access. $149 for the Studio license.
