Been having fun making these. AI has been super helpful. These were just for myself and two buddies.
The Kennedy and MacLean are real crests for friends. The Kennedy design one was ugly and hard to make look good carved. What would you have done differently on the “Kennedy”? Used AI to help with the vectors. Total time saver! Used a 1/8” tapered and 1/4” downcut. All others were 60v and 1/4” buts.
The Porters (for myself) were created in AI from scratch. I will redo these. Needed to do a better final pass and stain job.
MacLean came out great since it was oak. The others are all pine.

@Clt49er Nice!. I like the Porter one best. You can easily tell what your respective passions are: cooking, hockey (or is that golf?), barbecuing, and dogs.
I had started doing a design for my family a while back but got sidetracked.. My wife and daughters have a thing for squirrels so I was trying to use squirrels instead of the other animals (e.g. lions, horses, eagles) you mostly see. Maybe I’ll try again with AI.

I’m slowly embracing ai. On the Porter ones I did a prompt, brought it into my cad/cam (carveco), converted to vectors and setup the toolpaths in minutes. Am amazed I wasnt dealing with open or broken vectors.
