First Real Laser + CNC - More Adventures in Draft Taps

I was asked about making a racquet-shaped draft tap for a local racquet club - so I thought I would try a few things out. This is done in cherry, milled out of a nice chunk of wood from a friend’s tree.

and the finished product, done in spar urethane for durability:

I’m pretty happy with how it came out, really happy with how crisp the laser lettering is. The hardest part was drilling the end for threaded insert - I was really worried about wasting all the work that went into it!
