So I’m sure most of you know about the clearance issue on the z-axis because of the anti-backlash nut bolt protruding up and hitting the motor coupler. Well, because of this bolt limiting the travel of the z-axis, the limit switch would not switch on. I reached out to Sienci for suggestions and they said all I could do is move the switch closer to the router mount plate. The problem is, it’s already practically touching it. So here’s what I did to fix it.
First, I used a punch to create a divot in the top of the plate.
I then drilled out a small hole.
And finally, I drove in a small screw.
Now, the switch is activating as it should. I would love to hear what others have done to solve this issue. Or am I the only person that has this problem?
