I just installed the SLB on my MK2 30x30. All went well with the change over to SLB and I really like the way the machine runs now. I have now installed a Logitech game controller and am having an issue with jogging using the joy sticks. The only way I could get them to move at is to slow down the “Movement Distance Override” to 50%. If I hold the joystick in a direction nothing happens. If I just “stab” the joystick I get a one increment movement. If I then hold down the joystick, after stabbing it, the axis moves but I get Error code 15 “Travel Exceeded”. If I turn off Soft Limits then everything works fine, so I assume this is an issue with soft limits? Anyone have any ideas? Is this a firmware issue?
Another issue I have come across is jogging the Z-axis with the joystick, the axis will not stop when letting go of the joystick. In fact even if I let off the “lockout” switch the z axis will not stop even when it hits the limit switch. Kind of baffled at this point.
Hi Jay,
Welcome to the forums. I use a keyboard so no experiance with game stick thingys so I can only redirect you to the sienci troubleshoot page discussing game pad thingys misbehaviour.
Hope you can get it fixed with the tips in there.
