I went to Onshape to download the gControl CAD file but it will not let me export it, gives me this error message “Export failed. Resource does not exist, or you do not have permission to access it.”
I don’t know Onshape well so anyone have any ideas?
I was wanting to play around with some modifications but would like to have some measurements off these files.

I’ve been able to download other Sienci things from OnShape but I can’t seem to find a link in the gControl resource pages. If you can share a link to OnShape I’ll try to download it.
EDIT: I found the gControl in the AltMill Mk2 OnShape document. I get the same error as you there. I don’t seem to have an OnShape account so I don’t think that’s the problem. I wonder if the file owner chooses what can be exported?
That link brings me to the sign in page. The same thing happens if I right click the gControl in the tree on the left side of the AltMill page and select ‘open linked document’.
I don’t have an account and I’m able to download other things so this is making me wonder if they haven’t released the CAD file. I don’t know OnShape, having only used it to grab Scienci models so I’m not sure.
Yeah same here, I setup an account but it still does not allow me to export the files.
