Gender won't open in Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1

I’ve downloaded and installed. gender but when I try to run it I get this message from Mac OS:

“gSender” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.

Any thoughts on how to get around this?

I meant gsender… darn autocorrect!

Looks like you can open it by using control click, but you have to locate it in finder. Details here: Open a Mac app from an unidentified developer - Apple Support (CA)

@markhobson welcome Mark to the group. Excellent folks (as you have experienced) giving sound advice. Enjoy your stay here. I too use a Mac to run GSender. Except mine is an ancient MBP from 2011. Still chugging along for now.
