Gsender Edge on a computer with Touch Screen

I’m running gsender Edge on my windows 10 with a 14" touch screen. Drawback is that many controls for movements etc are small and very tight together. It means it very easy to make a wrong input.
Is it possible, in the near future, to have an alternative layout more adapted for a touch screen.

I prefere to use a touch screen in my workshop instead of using a normal mouse, depending of the dust etc

More mobile-friendly design is a high priority issue once the grblHAL/rotary functionality is finished. Timeline will be later this year, but it’s definitely something we’re already thinking about.

specifically less buttons and hiding the menus would bring the touch screen closer to being usable. 30-40% of the buttons are not used during general use and just take up screen space from the larger buttons, could be something simple view that would be more suited to touch screen
And of course the adjustable rocker combinations for the keys would support the creation of a single keyboard

I see that you’ve already knocked on open doors with the keyboard shortcut thing, but i’d still like to see a more touch screen optimized for the touch screen!

Great news that as of 1.5.0, touch screen functionality was given much more consideration and the design is now made to suit them while still being easily usable on non-touch devices. We also have support for a portrait-style touch screen like shown here:

Thanks for the feedback!
