I have determined that the issue is related to the operating system (Ubuntu 24.10)
I set up a Windows computer and there is no issue with that box (and the same file)
Update:/Solved:
When I ran gSender on Ubuntu I did so in a full screen mode. As it turns out, when I wish to load my first file, gSender pops up a file screen over top of gSender. When I attempt to load the next job, the file open dialog opens up BELOW the gSender window which I never see and the program is waiting for me to choose a file. If I shrink gSender, I see the dialog and can choose a file and gSender works as it should.
I have run into this sort of issue before in Windows but do not recall this ever happening under Ubuntu …
