Hi! I am going to wire up a 5vdc activated relay to auxiliary output so that I can create a macro to activate it (go hi, enable, power on, etc. etc.) when I start a job. This will be for my dust collection.
How do you control the auxiliary outputs in the software or via a macro? Thanks!
@Ok-Advance-8430 Welcome to the group, Justin. There is a section in the SLB technical manual on using M commands to turn on and off the aux inputs. You may want to start there.
I read the technical manual which answered my question. I tried to control my shop vac with a 30amp relay, which would have worked if the relay wasn’t broken. I ended up purchasing the digital loggers IOT relay and hooking it up to the “coolant” output. Then I used M8/M9 to turn on/off the relay. This way is very safe and simple to automatically turn your shop vac on and off at the start and stop of a job.
