Awesome improvements! Cable management was a big issue for me. This includes the drag chains being ‘floppy’ and moving about. I would consider this improvement to be much more than a ‘minor’ upgrade and well worth the additional cost.
Well done!
Will there be a drawing or STL published for the motor cover?
”Please note that changes to the SLB-EXT are expected to come near the middle of the AltMill MK2 batch. Both controllers are the same and are cross-compatible with each other.”
I think the photograph is inbetween the answer and the part that invokes your question. The changes are on the housing. (A wee larger for easier cable management.)
To help out the community and as an upstanding Canadian, I would like to offer that, If you would like to purchase you machine at the Canadian price and have it shipped to me here in Canada, I would be willing to hold it for you all until you can get to Canada to pick it up in person. This way avoiding the possible tariffs.
