Laser output on SLB

Laser output of the SLB is always 4.8vdc, unless SLB is turned off then of course = 0. I think I changed every eprom setting, adjusted laser power slider, turned off laser control, it doesn’t matter laser output = 4.8

Is this an new issue? That is, has everything been working properly before now? If so, what has changed since it last worked?

What is your $743 setting?

I’ve had the SLB for over a year and works great for cc’ing. Ive only recently tried to hook up the laser. The 743 I’ve tried setting @ 1.2.3 and 4. Still output is4.8 vdc

@Cjohn31875 $730=1000 and $731=0?? Have you tried setting $743 to 0?

Also, how are you measuring the power output?

I am away from machine till Monday. I will check $730 and $731 then. I did try $743=0 no avail.

I connected multimeter to the laser output on the SLB side PWM and GRD.
