LONGMILL 2.5 - I’ve been trying to get the status light bar working. I used the recommended LED strip, and the light comes on WHITE but doesn’t change color when moving or cutting. I’ve checked the wiring a few hundred times, even bought a different LED strip as recommended by SPARKsTECH, replaced the power supply twice, and verified the LED count all with the same result. What am I missing?

OK, I was just monkeying around with the settings because whatelse do I have to do at 2 in the morning. Looks like they are changing but barely. Shouldnt they be brighter> They seem really dull.
What tutorial did you follow? I added a resistor & capacitor in to get mine working. It is related to the signal drop due on the data line and the overall length of the wire run. The resistor is the key as it acts as a LED in the middle to. Some people put a sacrificial LED in the wire from the SLB instead. I followed the instructions in the tech manual and the Sparktech video. I’ll give the resistor a try.
The RESISTER solved the problem. They should add that tip to the technical manual.
