Limit switch issue

i have a superlongboard running on the new gsender and i am trying to set up proximity senses when i try and home one of the four (x Axes) does not work its not the wiring or the sensor as the red light turns off when triggered the little light next to the white connectors triggers as well. i have tried a working sensor in the x position and that fails so it must be something in gsender but i have set them all up the same z and y all home correctly. when i try manually triggering the sensors z and both y sensors all stop gsender and you have to reset as it should but the x does not but it does trigger the light on the board anyone any ideas

@julian I would try two things:

  • First try plugging the X-axis sensor into one of the other SLB inputs to see if it registers properly that way
  • Second, try plugging one of the other working sensors into the SLB for the X-axis and see if that then works

If you’re able to find that the sensor isn’t working then it might need replacing. If you find the sensor is working but the plug into the SLB isn’t then you should open the machine panel in gSender and see if the signal is being received from the board correctly. If nothing is changing then the board might have a bad plug connection and could be replaced under warranty
