Im not sure if this is proper protocol but i m looking for some help.
i have bought an aftermarket spindle to swap out for my Makita in my small longmill.
the more i read about wiring it up the more confused i get.
so that being said im wondering if i could set up a gettogether ( meeting) with a fellow member in the Montreal , Shaebrooke, Ottawa area . Someone who has done a spindle hookup .
Would love to go over the wiring needed and see and discuss things in person.
I live up North in Quebec but will be visiting Montreal area during easter break.
Any ideas

It’s mostly based on what VFD you are running. Which did you buy? The Huanyang V1 is well documented for RS485 and there is an unofficial guide for it.

I downloaded what I think is the right Manual but it’s pretty bad .
I’ve got it installed and it runs fine but I’m now trying to get it to run “ automatic” so to speak through gsender .
Where should I connect the two wires coming from the SpinPWM plug on my longboard .
I am thinking the red would go to Y1 and the black to GND ?
What do you think ?
Well I did more reading and studying of the Joke manual and from what I can figure the Y connection is output port . Totally confused right now .
