My wife wanted a sign in our laundry room. She went online to get some ideas and came up with this. It is 1/2" MDF prepainted white and then masked. Was carved with a 45 degree V-bit and took about an hour to carve. Lettering was painted black after carving.
So I figured maybe I should just throw this out there or fun for my contribution…
I love Haida art, so why not… Here is a Haida Sun God on vertical grain fir. Had to be careful with outlines before pocketing to avoid tear-out.
