So what materials can be safely etched using the laser. I know wood, leather and paper, but what about plastics, glass and metals? Any other materials?
You can’t etch glass directly, you need to mask it first with something like paint/tape… There are a bunch of youtube videos on stuff like that. You can search really anything like Laser projects on YT. Or search for like 7w laser projects and you will find a load of videos. Doesn’t have to be laserbeam specific laser since 7w laser will work all pretty much the same . With the slight exception that sometimes a Chinese made laser(from say aliexpress) will claim 7w but will really be rated much lower.
