I am expecting to receive my 48x30 MK 2.5 some time in June. What differences do I need to know in regards to following current MK 2 assembly instructions? Any idea when MK 2.5 instructions and videos will be available?

Looking forward to receiving my MK 2.5 48x30 tomorrow. I see the updated instructions online and was wondering when updated videos might be available?

Mine is hopefully arriving Wednesday.
I think the big differences are the backlash nuts (which I believe there are videos about those out there already) and the SLB. I believe the mechanics (ex backlash), gantry parts, and wiring up until the SLB are identical.
Do you know of any other differences we should be aware of?

Excited for you to get setup and start throwing chips around! The updated MK2.5 PDF manual and online directions are complete, along with a video showing how to install the updated spring loaded anti-backlash nuts. We currently don’t have plans to update the entire setup video, as only a handful of parts have changed.
Let us know if you get stuck anywhere or if you have suggestions for improvement. Go slow, take breaks and know that you will learn a ton about your new machine while you put it together. So excited for ya’ll!!
