Well I decided to jump into it and get a Longmill. My sister and I have always done crafts (she is the craftier). I just like toys and to tinker. I will be retiring in under 2 years and I will need something to do with my time. I did research and decided on the Longmill.
Before even getting the machine (still 5 weeks out) I decided to get my table built.
It is built from 2x4, 1x6, and a sheet of 3/4 MDF.
I will be adding a second half sheet of 3/4 MDF to the table as the scrap board (after the machine comes in.)
After I install the machine I will probably be adding threaded wasteboard, saw a great post here about it.
Glad to see that there is a great community to get help from.
