Cut out of 1/4" stock. It has a lip on the rear that lets you register/reference it with the bottom of the spindle mount edge so it’s tram side to side as well.

It’s a few years old, the A40640. I believe there is a second revision now.
It came with just the laser, the black mount and a small adapter PCB that I ditched. All the laser needs is 12V, GND and a 5V PWM signal.
